Power and Performance
For 2026, the Toyota RAV4 is only available as either a hybrid or plug-in hybrid vehicle. Plug-in hybrid grades come with a newly developed hybrid system with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, a high-capacity drive battery, and a high-output charger. This new setup provides a more impressive 320 combined horsepower.
Thanks to new silicon carbide semiconductors and a larger battery, you’ll benefit from an increased electric range. Improved charging speeds are made possible with the available CCS charging port.
No matter which grade you select, you’ll get a zero-to-60-mph time of 5.6 seconds. This new Toyota vehicle has a standard front-wheel drive system, but all-wheel drive is also available for improved handling. The GR SPORT trim level features track-inspired GR-tuned power steering and reinforced chassis braking for enhanced stability.
Technology Features
The cabin of the 2026 Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid has also been updated, prioritizing functionality and comfort above all else. A 10.5-inch center touchscreen display is standard, but you can also opt for a larger 12.9-inch version. All trim levels have a larger 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.
The XSE trim has an additional head-up display that shows key vehicle information on your windshield. A nine-speaker JBL® Premium Audio System is also available.
Safety Features
