The 2024 Toyota Tacoma i-FORCE MAX comes equipped with an all-new powertrain that’s more powerful than any engine ever created for the Toyota Tacoma. The i-FORCE MAX powertrain combines the standard 2.4-liter engine with a 48-horsepower electric motor that’s integrated directly into the eight-speed transmission to produce a total system output of 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque – nearly double the torque of the previous V6 engine.
Base models feature rear-wheel drive alongside an automatic limited-slip differential, while those who go with a four-wheel drive version of this Toyota model will benefit from an electronically controlled two-speed transfer case with Active Traction Control and an Auto LSD (limited-slip differential). The newly introduced Limited trim level has a full-time four-wheel-drive system with a center-locking differential.
Reimagined Design
The exterior of the 2024 Toyota Tacoma i-FORCE MAX is all-new and varies greatly depending on the model you select.
